Amid the grey drizzle of Friday morning, police uncovered over £15,000 worth of goods believed to be purchased with the proceeds of crime.
Acting on local intelligence, officers from Greater Manchester Police's City teams gathered on three estates across Wythenshawe to execute a series of warrants, on Gladeside Road, Brookcroft Road, and Broadley Avenue - making three simultaneous early wake-up calls.
While searching the addresses, officers seized over £15,000 worth of goods under the proceeds of crime act. At one of the properties, a 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon and remains in police custody awaiting questioning.
