Coldplay Announce 10th Studio Album 'Moon Music' - Details Revealed!
justjared.comColdplay is back with a new album! The band have announced their tenth studio album, Moon Music, set for release on October 4, following 2021′s Music of the Spheres.
The album’s first single, “feelslikeimfallinginlove,” will be out this Friday (June 21), and the album is produced by superstar pop producer Max Martin. Keep reading to find out more… Along with the band’s ongoing efforts to create eco-friendly sustainability measures on their current tour, which has produced 59% less CO2e emissions than their previous stadium tour, they’re also making the record’s physical release out of recycled products.
This will be the world’s first album released as a 140g EcoRecord LP, with each copy made from 9 recycled PET-plastic bottles recovered from post-consumer waste, preventing the manufacture of more than 25 metric tonnes of virgin plastic, and an 85% reduction in manufacturing process CO2 emissions/kg compared to traditional 140g vinyl.
Along with The Ocean Cleanup, there’s another format: the Notebook Edition EcoRecord LP. The rPET for this edition comprises 70% river plastic, intercepted by The Ocean Cleanup from the Rio Las Vacas, Guatemala, prevented from reaching the Gulf of Honduras and the Atlantic Ocean.
