St Johnstone striker Adama Sidibeh has paid tribute to the warm welcome the Fair City faithful have shown him since his Perth arrival.But the Gambian ace remained coy about reports linking him with a transfer away from the club this summer.The 25-year-old has been a smash hit since moving from English seventh-tier side Warrington Rylands back in January.The marksman scored five goals in his last eight league games to help secure Saints’ survival, including a final day clincher at Motherwell.The masterstroke transfer from manager Craig Levein has ensured a rapid rise for the pacey forward – going from non-league to Premiership starter and Gambian international in just a few months.During an interview with Gambian football channel, Jollof Football Bantaba, Sidibeh said: “I think it is amazing when you have the support of the fans.“They have been so amazing in supporting me and the team.“It just gives me more confidence to do extra on the pitch and to try my best.“My target is to score as much as I can – I can’t name a number.”His performances have seen the likes of Championship clubs Swansea and Hull City linked with a shock move for his signature, despite being under contract until May 2026.When asked about his targets with St Johnstone, he replied: “I have some Championship interest in me.“I am just waiting to for my agent to do his job.
