CJ ENM America Hires ‘Interior Chinatown’ EP Elsie Choi As Head Of Scripted TV
deadline.comFifth Season owner CJ ENM has a new scripted chief in the U.S. Elsie Choi has joined CJ ENM America as Head of Scripted TV, effective immediately and will report to the South Korean company’s U.S.
Scripted President, Angela Killoren. She’ll work out of LA and focus on CJ ENM’s mission to develop and produce inclusive original series globally.
Choi will be the creative point of contact for the company and its internationally-based subsidiary/affiliate content studios in the U.S.
Furthermore, she’ll look to adapt titles from CJ’s library for English-speaking and global audiences. Before joining, Choi was non-writing exec producer on upcoming Hulu series Interior Chinatown, which Charles Yu is creating and 20th Television is producing based on the 2020 novel of the same name.
