Angela Scanlon has recalled comments allegedly made towards her by a BBC producer after she began hosting Robot Wars in 2016.

Angela opened up about fronting Robot Wars on Tiffanie Darke's podcast Fashion as a Force for Good, saying it was a "big gig" for her. "It was Sunday night, eight o’clock, a big entertainment show and I had wild impostor syndrome.
So I felt very nervous about the actual doing of the job," she admitted. Angela alleges a BBC producer perceived her as the "glamour" despite her being "clear" about her "strengths and ability".
