A man raped a woman in the toilets of a nightclub then returned to the 'VIP area' and gloated to his friends, a court heard.
Onyedika Oriaku attacked the victim in the Fiction nightclub in Swansea city centre in March this year, Wales Online reports.
He claimed the sex had been consensual but was convicted of rape after a trial. Swansea Crown Court heard how he subjected the woman to the 'truly shameful' attack before taking one of his pals back to the he lavatories where it had just been carried out - something the judge described as 'sinister'.
University student Oriaku claimed his victim had initiated the contact, but after watching the CCTV, a judge said he had a 'very high opinion of himself'.
