Strictly Come Dancing fans were in a state of both confusion and euphoria as the show had to make some changes during the quarter-finals.

There was chaos before the hit BBC One dance contest returned to screens on Saturday night (December 2) as the show's Musicals special was without one couple.

Unfortunately, Nigel Harman had to make a sudden exit from the competition with the news being revealed at the eleventh hour.

The actor and his professional dance partner Katya Jones had to withdraw from Strictly 2023 after he sustained a rib injury that left him in A&E.
