Clive, 68, appeared to assume responsibility for the split, as he admitted that he "made a right mess of things basically". Speaking to Christine Lampard, who was standing in for Lorraine, he called Amanda a "remarkable woman" and admitted she's "having a tough time." "I can't just sit back and watch this happen," he added. "I had a massive part to play in our relationship ending." Clive added that he should have supported her instead of "ranting, raving, drinking and carrying on". "Jealousy was taking her away.
