The Paris Olympics are well underway and it has already seen its fair share of medals handed out. The games, which officially got underway on Friday, will run until August 11.

And if you have been watching the Olympics at home you might have noticed winning athletes given a box, as well as their medal, when they are on the podium. It features a big red Eiffel Tower, Paris' main river, the Seine and multiple sports being played in and around the city. Written on the cartoon are the words, 'XXXIII Olympiade' in reference to Paris 2024 being the 33rd edition of the Games.

As well as the poster, athletes are given a plush toy of this year's mascot. The poster was designed by illustrator Ugo Gattoni.
