Two people have been rushed to hospital following a three-vehicle crash on the M8 between Glasgow and Edinburgh. The incident happened at around 10.30am at junction 7A, near Coatbridge, in Lanarkshire, with major traffic disruption to the motorway on Saturday morning, Glasgow Live reports.

Police have confirmed that two people have been taken to Wishaw General Hospital and one man has been arrested in connection with a road traffic offence.
