From flash floods to unbearable heat - and a tornado - Greater Manchester seen it all this year. The weather across the region has been as unpredictable as ever.

One thing has been annoyingly regular. Rain. Torrential downpours halted Parklife. Manchester City's Treble parade was battered by rain.

And Piccadilly station was flooded following heavy showers. Busy roads were closed off as cars floated above the water, gardens were left submerged and the notorious A555 Airport Relief Road flooded - again.
