The Chase’s Paul Sinha rushes to support 'Beast' Mark Labbett after ‘breakdown’ on show
ok.co.ukThe Chase’s Paul Sinha has shown his support to co-star Mark Labbett – who admitted to having a “breakdown’ on the ITV programme on Wednesday, 18 October.
Mark, known by his nickname The Beast, took to social media to explain that he had struggled facing ‘yet another star team’ on the popular quiz show.
A team of three beat the 58 year old quiz expert in the final chase and took home £20,000 between them. Viewers noticed a difference in Mark during Wednesday night’s show and the star has now taken to X/Twitter to clear up what happened.
He wrote: "I had a breakdown prior to the final chase, was utterly demoralised by yet another star team.” He went on to add: “I still applauded and congratulated the team but it was edited out :(." Fellow chaser Paul Sinha, 53, offered his support following the admission.
