Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Taylor Swift ISIS suspect 'planned to drive car into 20,000 fans' at concert

Suspects behind an alleged planned ISIS terror attack that forced Taylor Swift to cancel her upcoming Vienna concerts were planning to drive a vehicle into the 20,000-strong crowd at the stadium, according to local reports.

On Wednesday, three of Taylor's Eras tour performances were cancelled, with show organisers saying there had been “confirmation from government officials of a planned terrorist attack at Ernst Happel Stadium”.This morning (Thursday, August 8), the Deputy Cabinet Chief of the Federal Chancellor, Daniel Kossak, said one of two arrested suspects had made a "full confession" and "wanted to carry out an attack using explosives and cutting and stabbing weapons." Writing on Twitter (X), he said: "Based on the information now available, we know the threat and the attack plans were very specific, and the danger was very real.The main perpetrator who was arrested made a full confession.The original tip from foreign services referred to a lone perpetrator.The DSN has uncovered the network involved." After the arrests in Austria, the UK's Policing Minister Diana Johnson said Scotland Yard would be looking at "all the intelligence" before the singer returns to the UK.

Officials said a 19-year-old suspect was arrested in Ternitz, an area south of Vienna, on Wednesday morning, and a second person in the capital city later the same day.
