John Christopher Depp II (born June 9, 1963) is an American actor, singer, producer, and musician. He has been nominated for ten Golden Globe Awards, winning one for Best Actor for his performance of the title role in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2008), and has been nominated for three Academy Awards for Best Actor, among other accolades. He is regarded as one of the world's biggest film stars. Depp made his film debut in the 1984 film A Nightmare on Elm Street, before rising to prominence as a teen idol on the television series 21 Jump Street (1987–1990). He had a supporting role in Oliver Stone's 1986 war film Platoon and played the title character in the 1990 romantic fantasy Edward Scissorhands.

Tamayo Perry Dies In Shark Attack: ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean’ Actor Was Aged 49

Pirates of the Caribbean actor Tamayo Perry has died after a shark attack while surfing in Hawaii. Perry, who was also a lifeguard and professional surfer, had been fatally attacked on Sunday afternoon, Honolulu’s emergency services confirmed in a press conference.

Paramedics on Malaekahana Beach, Oahu, pronounced him dead after he had been taken to shore by jet ski. He had suffered “more than one possible bites,” according to officials.

The 49-year-old actor was known for playing a buccaneer in 2011’s Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, the fourth film in the Johnny Depp action franchise.

The feature also starred Penelope Cruz, Geoffrey Rush and Ian McShane. He also had roles in Lost, Hawaii Five-0 and Blue Crush, mainly as a surfer, and performed stunts in several others.
