After being played just 17 times between 2020 and 2022, the song has not been performed since.Now, Sykes has shed light onto the reason why at the band’s recent show in Germany.
Playing at Hurricane Festival in Scheeßel, he asked the crowd what they wanted to hear next.When a festivalgoer shouted out ‘Medicine’, he replied: “‘Medicine’?
Are you guys all right? You’re good, you’re good, right? You guys would like to hear ‘Medicine’? Even I think that song is shit.”Sykes did offer some alternatives such as ‘Pray For Plagues’, ‘Chelsea Smile’ and ‘Don’t Look Down’.
