Tom Bower, the veteran character actor best known for prominent turns on The Waltons and in Die Hard 2, has died. A family member confirmed the news to Deadline’s sister publication The Hollywood Reporter. He was 86.

The original cast of Breaking Bad reunited at the 2024 SAG Awards more than 10 years since the original show ended and almost five years since El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie was released.

Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan has signed a new deal with Sony Pictures Television.The showrunner and writer, who was at the helm of Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul and El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, has inked another four-year deal with the producers.Gilligan has renewed his deal with Sony Pictures Television for another four years, after being with the company for the last 15 already.“Recently I was talking to my excellent agents (at ICM Partners,) and they reminded me my current deal was at its end.

Breaking Bad and El Camino star Aaron Paul has opened up about an alternate ending to the 2019 spin-off film.Paul, who played Jesse Pinkman in Vince Gilligan’s show and takes centre stage in the two-hour Netflix movie, spoke of the film’s final scene in which Jesse reflects on a conversation with his late girlfriend Jane.“I thought it was such a beautiful way to end this film,” Paul told Entertainment Weekly. “He looks at the seat next to him and it’s empty, and then out of nowhere Jane appears, and they’re just in love, and they’re in a much less complicated time in their lives.“And she ends up giving Jesse the best piece of advice that he could receive: Just take control of your own destiny and run with it.
