Stolen bikes and drugs seized and teenager arrested after early morning raid

A teenage boy has been arrested and two stolen bikes sezied after police raided a house in south Manchester. Officers executed a warrant at the address on Burnage Lane, Burnage at 8am this morning (Sunday).

During a search, two stolen motorbikes were found and sezied by the officers. "It is believed that both had been stolen in recent weeks and they will now be re-united with their rightful owners" Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said.

Cannabis was also found along with "other drug paraphernalia." A boy, aged 16, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of robbery and possession of cannabis.

He remains in custody for questioning.
