An Australian tourist visiting Edinburgh was left "confused" following a trip to a much-loved bakery. TikToker Ali Smith had travelled to the capital from Brisbane and was encouraged by some of her 380,000 followers to try out Greggs. She headed off to one of the iconic chain's stores after being inundated with praise for their baked goods.
But her early positivity was short-lived and she ended up less than impressed with her lunch haul, reports Edinburgh Live.Posting on TikTok, Ali said: "Let's go to Greggs for the first time and do a taste test on a few different things!"You guys have been telling me I have to go to Greggs, so I got these yum yums - and apparently my granny used to get these. "That'll be exciting.
I [also] got a steak bake, and a sausage roll."But then she reached into the packet and was instantly disappointed. She said: "Why is it cold?
It's not warm at all."Her friend, who is accompanying her, replies: "We can warm it up when we get home. There's something about if they heat it up they have to pay more tax or something."As she peers in the bag with confusion, Ali continues to question the temperature of her food.
