Steve-O detained by police for jumping off London bridge
nypost.comSteve-O wrote on the newly-launched Threads on Instagram. In a video obtained by TMZ, Steve-O opens a Union Jack umbrella that matches his “I Love London” shirt and climbs onto the ledge of the famed bridge.
He counts himself to three and then plunges into the river to the bewilderment of the onlooking crowd. Steve-O claimed to TMZ that police explained to him that they fear his stunt may encourage people to make suicidal leaps from the bridge.The Post has contacted reps for Steve-O, as well as London police for comment.
Steve-O is in England to film his third comedy special as he embarks on his “Bucket List” tour.“We just opened up tickets for the late show on July 14 at the Hackney Empire.
It’s the taping of my Bucket List. Be there,” he said into the camera in TMZ’s video before being shoved into a cop car. This wasn’t the first stunt Steve-O completed during his time across the pond.
