Rishi Sunak laughed awkwardly and described going without Sky TV as a child after being asked how he could relate to struggling families.
Alongside wife Akshata Murty, the Prime Minister is richer than King Charles. And he fumbled while being grilled on ITV as he was asked to describe a moment his family had to make a sacrifice while he was growing up.
Mr Sunak initially said 'lot's of things', but failed to give any examples until being pressed by journalist Paul Brand. His reply has been criticised as 'out of touch' at a time so many families are struggling to make ends meet, the Mirror reports.
