Greater Manchester Police have issued an update on their painstaking investigation into how the bodies of four Vietnamese men came to be found inside a burnt out mill in Oldham.
A huge blaze broke out at Bismark House Mill on May 7 last year and took four days for crews to bring under control. It was not believed that anyone was inside the building but two months later, demolition workers made the grim discovery - prompting a major incident.
Partial remains of four victims were found during a 'complex' and 'challenging' search which took several months. DNA testing has since identified the remains as those of Uoc Van Nguyen, Cuong Van Chu, Duong Van Nguyen and Nam Thanh.
