Police have appealed directly to a missing man to come home as concern grows for his welfare. Ian Price was last seen at around 12pm yesterday (Friday, August 18) at his home in the Appleton area of Warrington.

Police have been searching for him since and are now 'becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare'. The 47-year-old was last seen wearing a grey T-shirt, with a grey hoodie, black shorts, and grey trainers, Cheshire Police said.

Police also appealed directly to Ian to come home, with his family 'worried' about him. Inspector Dan Richardson said: "Officers have been searching for Ian since yesterday, so far to no avail, and we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.
