OUR Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen has revealed she feels 'helpless and tearful' in her latest social media post. After the terrible aftereffects of the tremendous earthquakes that struck Syria and Turkey on Monday - Amanda has shared how she is feeling.

Taking to Twitter the Yorkshire Shepherdess told her 208.6k followers how distressed she was and that she feels "helpless" after watching the tragedy.

In the emotional tweet, alongside a snap of her children, Amanda wrote: Beyond comprehension to imagine the utter devastation in aftermath of earthquakes.

Lives destroyed in the blink of an eye, feel helpless. What to do? "Donate… pray… reflect on how fortunate we are? Saw Reubs watching excavators sifting through rubble on TV, where would you start? [emoji with a tear]." The World Health Organisation has issued a warning that the death toll in Turkey may surpass 20,000.
