Retired Rangers hero Novo and social media personality Milligan will pull on the gloves at The Hydro on August 12 and the fight between two complete novices taking place at Glasgow's main arena has left boxing purists with their heads in their hands - with tickets for the event starting at almost £50.
It's the latest high-profile 'crossover' bout and the first to take place in Scotland. On Thursday, the duo met with the media to promote the showdown and a clip on Milligan's Instagram showed a seemingly cordial moment between them turn sour.
In a scene that could have been taken straight out of River City, Novo shakes Milligan's hand after some pleasantries were exchanged and turns to walk away - before stopping and shouting Mulligan's name.He then declares 'I'm going to knock you out!' and throws two eggs at his car.
