This month’s meeting of the Motherwell & Wishaw Inner Wheel Club was a very special event. The club celebrated its 76th birthday in the Bentley Hotel in Motherwell.Club members, friends and special guests were joined by members from the Lanark and Larkhall Clubs to mark the occasion.Larkhall club president, Laura Reid, lit the candle of friendship and district chairman, Marjorie McGeary cut the birthday cake.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

President Nancy Ralston said: “It’s wonderful to be part of a club with such a long and distinguished heritage and we are very happy that our friends from Lanark and Larkhall clubs could join us for this very special occasion.” The club meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 6pm in the Bentley Hotel, Motherwell.New members are always made welcome.
