TV star Vanessa Feltz became engaged to 90s boyband star Ben Ofoedu in 2006.The pair planned to marry the following year, but never tied the knot, and stayed together until late 2022.
Vanessa shared the heartbreaking news of the split after it was reported that Ben had allegedly cheated on Vanessa. Her daughter Allegra previously spoke out about how the alleged affair came to light, after receiving “abusive and extremely hurtful” messages on social media. “It was on Christmas Day, of all days,” Allegra told The Sun earlier this year. “We were all together as a family, but Ben was away in pantomime when the messages appeared via Instagram.” Now, Vanessa has shared in her Closer column, her plans to be surrounded by her beloved grandchildren for a much calmer Christmas.
She said: “I want to rekindle a childlike pleasure.This means abandoning all thoughts of good taste. “Do I want an elegant all-white and taupe Christmas tree?
I can’t think of anything worse!” Vanessa joked.The Talk TV host went on to describe her fondness for a perfectly imperfect Christmas with her family. “I love the wonky baubles, homemade by the grandchildren, the souvenirs of the past and the weird unlatching bears, frogs, and unicorns we seem to have accumulated, fIlling the room with memories.
