Motherwell OAP in bother after police find taser gun during search of his home

A Motherwell pensioner landed in trouble after police found a taser gun during a search of his home. Marshall Dalziel protested that the weapon had been left by a friend and didn't even work, but officers discovered it only needed to be re-charged.

Dalziel, 67, appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court this week. He admitted possession of a prohibited weapon at his home in Birrens Road on December 7, 2022.
