It’s that special time of year when Lanarkshire Live's sister paper the Airdrie & Coatbridge Advertiser ask the kind-hearted community to help bring a smile to children and families as we help launch the Monklands toy appeal.The wonderful cause is back for its 11th year, with donations already arriving at supermarket collection points in both Airdrie and Coatbridge.Supported by the Airdrie & Coatbridge Advertiser and local good causes, the festive project invites generous Monklands residents to gift new toys, games, books, toiletries and vouchers for young people aged from birth to 16.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
