ITV bosses 'desperate' to sign Rebekah Vardy for Celebrity Big Brother

ITV bosses are reportedly gunning for football WAG Rebekah Vardy to star in the newly revived return of Celebrity Big Brother next year as they look to bring audiences an exciting line-up of celebs.It comes as the 'civillian' version of Big Brother launched on the TV network in October to the delight of fans, with the reality show having last aired on Channel 5 in 2018.

It had such success in ratings the celeb version was later confirmed.Rebekah, 41, has been tipped to be 'TV gold' if she agreed to enter the house, with bosses hoping she will open up about the infamous Wagatha scandal and her rival Coleen Rooney following her fellow WAG already telling her side of the story.Coleen candidly opened up on the pairs fiery libel case which was taken to the high court in her Disney+ documentary, with Rebekah suing her for damages although lost her case over publicising private information from Coleen's social media account.Producers also believe Rebekah could "stir things up" if she took part in the show next year, being no stranger to reality shows having took part previously on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
