Mercedes drug driver arrested after police chase ends on residential street
manchestereveningnews.co.ukThe driver of a Mercedes who led police on a chase through the streets of Bolton was later arrested on suspicion of drug driving.
The car was spotted overtaking other vehicles in the Tonge Moor area before the driver 'made off at speed' when he noticed police were watching him on Tuesday night (June 4).
A short time later, the same officers then saw the vehicle again coming off Crompton Way towards Bury Road - again speeding away and leading police on a chase. The Mercedes was searched and a quantity of cannabis was found. The suspect was also taken into custody on suspicion of drug driving and driving without insurance and the vehicle was seized.
