F1 world champ Max Verstappen admits he would sacrifice winning any races for a YEAR if it meant his beloved PSV win the Champions League. The Dutch driving supremo won the US grand prix for the third year running at the weekend, coming from behind to take first place on the podium in Austin Texas.
The Red Bull driver had already been named World Driver's Champion before getting behind the wheel as he and his team continue to dominate on the track.
He's now been No 1 on the planet three times, and secured a record equalling 15th victory of the season in the Lone Star State. But Verstappen would dearly love to see the Eindhoven club lift the biggest prize in football for the second time in their history.
The Dutch giants lifted the European Cup back in 1988, although that was before Verstappen's time. PSV dumped Rangers out in the playoff round this season, thumping the Light Blues 5-1 at home following a 2-2 draw at Ibrox. That saw them drawn in Group B along with Arsenal, Sevilla and Lens.
