The 24-year-old was United's first signing of the summer, joining the club from Chelsea in a deal that was initially worth £55million.

Ten Hag was determined to strengthen his midfield options with a younger and more dynamic operator and earmarked Mount as the ideal candidate, but despite the billing he has experienced a slightly slow start to life at his new club.
