Manchester United are concerned defender Leny Yoro could be sidelined for a prolonged period with a foot injury. Yoro, 18, was seen on crutches and wearing a protective boot at United’s pre-season tour training base at the UCLA on Tuesday after he was forced off injured in the first half of their 2-1 defeat to Arsenal in Los Angeles on Saturday.
United manager Erik ten Hag said the club would know within 24 hours what the extent of Yoro’s and Rasmus Hojlund’s injuries were yet the club have decided against issuing an official communication on their specific injuries.
It is understood neither Hojlund nor Yoro trained on Tuesday ahead of United’s second tour friendly against Real Betis in San Diego on Wednesday.
