Man who shot half-brother in the street NOT GUILTY of murder - having admitted manslaughter

A man who shot his half-brother in the street has been found not guilty of murder, having admitted manslaughter. Much-loved dad Zikel Bobmanuel, 32, was killed in Openshaw, east Manchester, by Rumaal Ingram.

Ingram, 36, pleaded guilty to manslaughter, but denied murder as he went on trial at Manchester Crown Court alongside Emmanuel Onasanya, 32, alleged to have driven him to and from the scene.

Both have now been found not guilty of murder. Jurors were unable to reach a verdict in respect of an alternate charge of manslaughter relating to Mr Onasanya. A mention hearing has been set for November 27. Mr Bobmanuel and Ingram shared a father. They were said to have had a 'tempestuous' relationship.
