However, Martin has been among the names tipped to host This Morning amid the constantly changing presenting line-up following the exits of both Phillip Schofield in May and Holly Willoughby last month.
Phillip announced his decision to quit This Morning back in May this year after saying rumours of a fractured relationship with Holly behind the scenes had "become the story".
However, the 61-year-old resigned from ITV altogether merely a week later after admitting to an “unwise but not illegal” relationship with a younger male colleague.
