Tributes have poured in for a 'kind-hearted' man well-known in the Gorton and Denton community after he passed away last month.

Michael Evans, 71, who was a retired carpenter, passed away in early October after a three-year battle with cancer. Michael was well-loved by many people in Gorton and Denton with notable community work such as neighbourhood watching and bi-weekly litter picks - earning him an individual award.
