While people online branded him "cruel", he explained his spouse was "horrible with money" – and cash ahd been an issue throughout their relationship.The angry husband said he out-earns his wife significantly, so when they got married and combined their finances she started being irresponsible with their money. "I had many conversations with her over it and even tried to get her to take a money financial class", he elaborated.
Eventually things got so bad that he threatened to divorce his wife if she didn't clean up her act. He posted on Reddit's 'Am I The A**hole' forum: "To her credit, she took it seriously and she is fixing her credit card debt.
We have separate money and I pay for the bills while her only worry is to buy groceries."The husband then revealed that his family has planned a holiday and "everyone is invited".
