M&S unveils quirky Easter snack and shoppers are hailing it 'the best one yet'

If there is one thing that we can all trust, it is that Marks and Spencer will always pull it out of the bag with a showstopping range of seasonal treats.

From Christmas to Valentine's Day, the high-street retailer offers up a range of quirky delicacies throughout the year. So, when we hear about shoppers hailing a new Easter treat as "the best one yet", we absolutely take note.The high praise from shoppers came after the high-street giant took to Instagram to share its new Fried Egg Choc Corn, which looks perfect for anyone with a sweet and savoury tooth.

Currently priced at £5 on the Ocado website, the quirky chocolate slab is made from sweet and salted toffee popcorn that is smothered in white chocolate and topped with a salted caramel filled 'yolk'.

Sharing the new snack to its Food Instagram page, M&S wrote: "MEET the … FRIED EGG CHOC CORN!"Sweet & Salted toffee POPCORN, COVERED in white chocolate, TOPPED with soft caramel filled yolk, that looks like a FRIED EGG! "EGGCELLENT Easter treat idea."Multiple chocaholics quickly flocked to the comments section to express their enthusiasm for the "amazing" new treat that they needed the Easter bunny to bring them this year."It's the best one yet people!!", exclaimed one enthusiastic shopper."LOOK AT THAT", raved a second."If the Easter Bunny doesn't bring me this I'm going to be devo", replied an eager third shopper."Omg this looks amazing", praised a fourth. "STUNNING", added a fifth.It's not the first unique new Easter treat from M&S that has grabbed attention, as the retailer's Banoffee Hot Cross Buns were recently hailed as "delicious" by eager shoppers who were hunting them down.The Fried Egg Choc Corn can be bought for £5 from Ocado and in M&S stores.
