Luxury sports car seized on Glasgow's M74 after 'racing' driver 'fails drug test'

Cops seized a luxury sports car after the driver was spotted 'racing' other vehicles on the M74. Officers pulled over the grey luxury vehicle on Monday, July 22, on the busy motorway near Dalmarnock.

The driver was subsequently arrested after police say he allegedly failed a roadside drug test, reports Glasgow Live.Road Police Scotland cops reportedly seized the vehicle under the Anti-social Behaviour Act.

It comes as the force reported a busy period with drivers stopped for drink driving, drug driving, road traffic offences and dangerous driving.A spokesperson for Road Police Glasgow said: "Glasgow Road Police had a busy 24 hours responding to a wide range of incidents, from 999 calls to vehicle pursuits.
