Love Island's Belle Hassan confirms split from boyfriend of two years

Belle Hassan is single and ready to mingle once again. Known to Love Island enthusiasts for her time in the 2019 series - she left the villa with Anton Danyluk - the 25 year old confirmed that she'd separated from boyfriend-of-two-years Kane during an Instagram fan Q&A this week. "Are you single now?" read one of the questions, to which she responded: "Lool yes absolutely.

I feel like you guys are going to want a story time on this which is why I've hid it for a while because no one wants to really talk about this stuff [laughing emoji]." Further along, Belle also suggested that heartbreak can be a "good thing", in that it aids personal "growth".

Since appearing on Love Island, the daughter of actor Tamer Hassan, famed for roles in The Football Factory and Game of Thrones, has been the victim of some truly hideous abuse out in public - the most infamous example occurred at London's Winter Wonderland.

Belle's subsequent social media statement read: "It's so sad to think that that this happy photo went so bad so quickly because of a Love Island related attack. "It's so sad to think because of the short time I had on a poxy TV show that I will never be able to live my life again without being hit in the face for no reason or go out without girls starting on me and abusing me for no reason. "I'm sick of having to stand up for myself to prove I'm not a c*** to people and try to stand strong to show I'm not an idiot to everyone who asks." It continued: "This is my reality and I'm sick of trying to stay strong.This is what I deal with week in and week out that I hide from my socials because I don't want anyone to see this side of reality TV but this is my truth and now I'm taking time out for now.
