Erik ten Hag insists money is available for Manchester United to strengthen their squad amid uncertainty over the club's ownership.
It has been six months since United's owners, the Glazer family, announced a "strategic review" into the possibility of a takeover and the Ineos Group and Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani have submitted bids.
Sheikh Jassim's increased offer made this week is for 100 per cent ownership, would clear the club's debts and provide a separate fund for the club and community. When asked if United's ownership situation had to be resolved swiftly, Ten Hag replied: “I don’t know. For me, it is about finance and that there is money available to do the right things.
