LISA of BLACKPINK Is Teasing New Music 3 Years After Solo Debut!
justjared.comLISA is coming! The 27-year-old BLACKPINK superstar and “LALISA” solo star teased that new music is in the works on Thursday (June 6), nearly three years after her solo debut.
She caused fans to panic after posting a teaser on Instagram Stories, writing: “Coming soon: LISA.” Keep reading to find out more… The graphic also included links to pre-save an untitled project on Spotify and Apple Music, and her official website has the teaser, as does her LLOUD management page.
She also posted a video on TikTok, complete with a tease of a synth beat titled “Coming Soon” while posing in an outfit. She first went solo in September of 2021, releasing the singles “LALISA” and “Money” via YG Entertainment and Interscope Records. “Money” went on to be the first solo K-pop hit to surpass a billion streams on Spotify in 2023.
The music video recently became the singer’s first to reach a billion views on YouTube, via Billboard. In April, LISA signed with RCA Records in anticipation of her upcoming solo music. “I’m super excited to be joining the RCA family, and I am confident they are the best team to create a bigger movement in my solo career,” LISA said in a statement at the time. “Looking forward to showing the world everything we have been preparing.” Get ready!
