Jeremy Renner is explaining his decision to exit the Mission: Impossible franchise. If you don’t know, the 53-year-old Mayor of Kingstown star portrayed the role of William Brandt in 2011′s Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol and 2015′s Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation.
However, he did not appear in the last two films in Tom Cruise‘s famed franchise. Keep reading to find out more… When asked by Collider why he decided to leave the franchise, he gave an honest response. Jeremy told them, “Yeah.
I had to leave that. I was supposed to do more with them. I love those guys. I love Tom [Cruise] so much. We had so much fun, and I love that character a lot.
It requires a lot of time away. It’s all in London. I had to go be a dad. It just wasn’t gonna work out then.” Jeremy is a dad to 11-year-old Ava, who he shares with ex wife Sonni Pacheco.
