Ruth Langsford
Ruth Langsford (born 17 March 1960 in Singapore) is an English television presenter of shows such as This Morning, Gift Wrapped and How the Other Half Lives. Langsford is an anchor on ITV's lunchtime chat show Loose Women and presents Ruth Langsford's Fashion Edit on QVC. She took part in the fifteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing, where she came ninth. She is currently the longest serving female presenter of This Morning. Ruth currently is more frequently known for her exclusive fashion collection, for British fashion label QVC. After being approached to curate a collection, Langsford signed a multi million pound endorsement deal that spawned 19 sellout collections; 18 of which debuted at London Fashion Week Women’s Collection.
Phillip Schofield
Phillip Bryan Schofield (born 1 April 1962) is an English television presenter who works for ITV. He is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2002–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2014, 2018–present) alongside Holly Willoughby. His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

ITV Loose Women brought to a close early as Ruth Langsford addresses viewers

ITV Loose Women viewers were told the show was being brought to a close early today as Ruth Langsford addressed them. The popular daytime programme usually runs from 12.30 - 1.30PM in the slot straight after This Morning.

But as Tuesday's episode kicked off, host Ruth had an update for people watching at home. She said: "This is your Tuesday and it's nice to have your company [but] we are going to have to keep it short and sweet for you today. "It's just a 30-minute show and we have a lot to pack in so we better get on with it." ITV News was scheduled to air at 1pm in the shake-up to normal proceedings on the channel.

That meant that the coverage of Royal Ascot could take place from 1.30PM - 6PM and it's going to be that way all this week. Other shows which will be affected include The Chase and Tipping Point and fans of those will need to wait until Monday, June 26 for the next instalment.Royal Ascot was one of the late Queen's favourite events on the horse racing calendar and it takes place ever June.

King Charles will follow in his mum's footsteps and be in attendance every day this year.Earlier we reported Loose Women presenter Ruth had publicly praised her husband Eamonn Holmes following his very vocal comments about the Phillip Schofield affair.
