Inside the Royal Family's Easter plans: From egg hunt for kids to big reunion
ok.co.ukWith Easter around the corner, many of us will be thinking about where to hide the eggs in the garden for the little ones to find and what to cook for a big family meal.
And it's no different for the Royal Family who have a bundle of traditions and plans when it comes to celebrating the Christian holiday.
King Charles hosts Christmas for the family at Sandringham and the summer holidays at Balmoral but for Easter, it's a much quieter affair and the family traditionally head to Windsor.The majority of their weekend will take place in private, however, members of the family will make an appearance when they attend the Easter Sunday church service.
The King and Queen Camilla, along with other members of the Royal Family, will attend the annual Easter Mattins Service at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on Sunday, 31 March.This will be Charles' first big public appearance since sharing the news that he had been diagnosed with cancer in February and will see him reunited with several members of the family.
