Jenny Han, who wrote the original books the films were based on, serves as executive producer and showrunner for XO, Kitty. It stars Anna Cathcart as Kitty Song Covey, the younger sister of Laura Jean from the film series.

Kitty journeys to South Korea to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, where plenty of drama ensues.
