Kyogo has revealed he picked himself up from his Japan World Cup snub by penning an emotional entry in his diary - signing it off "Hail Hail." The firing Celtic striker was overlooked by Hajime Moriyasu for Qatar despite netting 11 goals before the break and he learned he hadn't made the cut on the eve of their trip to face Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.
But if it got to him, he didn't show it, starting their thumping in Madrid before signing off for the break with back-to-back goals against Dundee United and Motherwell.
Kyogo has been the subject of a documentary in his homeland chronicling his second season in Glasgow and a version including English subtitles has now emerged online.
In one, Kyogo reveals to the camera that he keeps a diary he writes every night, usually filled with motivational messages to keep his spirits up.
