As she sat there in her high street clothes, the 35 year old was surrounded by guests clad in head-to-toe designer items.To say she was in disbelief would be an understatement. “It was just crazy, I was treated like a celebrity.
I was in five star hotels. I remember going and seeing all these people around me who had Chanel sunglasses on and were carrying Chanel bags and there was little old me in Primark,” she tells OK!. “I was like ‘I don’t fit in here’.
I went to the best restaurants and I did the best activities. I went camel riding. I can’t describe the experience because it was so amazing.” While the trip of a lifetime would be unforgettable for any holidaymaker, for Ashleigh it was all the more special following the journey she’d been on.
In fact, the holiday came just years after she’d been questioning how she was going to make ends meet. In 2011, Ashleigh welcomed her first son, Lucas, into the world.
