Ruth Langsford
Ruth Langsford (born 17 March 1960 in Singapore) is an English television presenter of shows such as This Morning, Gift Wrapped and How the Other Half Lives. Langsford is an anchor on ITV's lunchtime chat show Loose Women and presents Ruth Langsford's Fashion Edit on QVC. She took part in the fifteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing, where she came ninth. She is currently the longest serving female presenter of This Morning. Ruth currently is more frequently known for her exclusive fashion collection, for British fashion label QVC. After being approached to curate a collection, Langsford signed a multi million pound endorsement deal that spawned 19 sellout collections; 18 of which debuted at London Fashion Week Women’s Collection.

Loose Women star says 'worst thing that could happen to me' after sister's death

An emotional segment on Loose Women saw Coleen Nolan discussing the "worst thing" that could happen to her as a mum. The conversation turned reflective when the panel spoke about Prince William and Prince Harry's rift, in light of William's public birthday message to his brother.Coleen drew parallels with her past quarrels with her sisters, contemplating the absence of their mother.Jane Moore noted that without a maternal figure like Princess Diana or Queen Elizabeth II in the princes' lives, there's nobody to urge them to reconcile.

She remarked, "I wonder that they don't have that woman in their lives going, 'Come on, sort yourselves out'".To which Coleen responded with a powerful statement: "I genuinely believe that if Diana was still here it would never have got to this.

They both idolised her and she absolutely idolised them." Reflecting on her own experiences, Coleen admitted, "I think it's really important.

The fall-out I had with my family, with my sisters, for like four years... I don't think that would have continued as long as it did had my mum still been around," reports the Mirror.
