Glen Kamara has dropped a huge hint that he won't be staying at Rangers any longer - admitting he isn't surprised by Michael Beale's exit comments surrounding his future. The midfielder, who joined from Dundee in the Steven Gerrard era for just £100,000, became a trusted member of the Light Blues side that went unbeaten in the Scottish Premiership, won a Scottish Cup and reached a Europa League final. But with Michael Beale's arrival as boss, Kamara's gametime began to dwindle wit the signings of Todd Cantwell and Nicolas Raskin while the introduction of Kieran Dowell this summer could further limit his involvement.

Having slipped further down the pecking order at Ibrox, Kamara is likely to find game time hard to come by next seaso, though reports suggesting Rangers will listen to offers of £5m for his services indicate they are not especially keen to sell.

Beale's comments earlier in pre-season appeared to give Kamara an ultimatum to knuckle down or seek pastures new, and Kamara has dropped a hint by admitting he 'isn't surprised by Beale's comments', alongside reflecting on his Rangers career as though he had already left. The Finnish international said: “I’ve been on holiday mode so I’ve taken my mind off football.

We had conversations a couple of months ago so I’m not surprised with those comments. I feel like I know where I’m at in my head and he knows it too.
